For the first time in months, it’s cool and lovely outside. The breeze is blowing the palmettos and the leaves of our camphor tree. The neighbor kids next door are outside, laughing and giggling as they roll and tumble. I’m on the back porch in my sweatshirt, and the lawn noise is WAY off in the distance for a change. If it weren’t for the fact that I should be studying right now, I’d be digging into a novel. Life is just plain good.
