Five A’s for Five Q’s

If it’s Friday it must be time for the RevGal 5!

This week it’s a quickie. What are you…
1. Wearing
My favorite quasi-Chuck brown low top shoes, my green pants and a fun stripey shirt. No mascara, as I ran out of the house without and then bought eyeliner by mistake (along with the caffiene I clearly needed to drink)

2. Reading
Velvet Elvis (still and again) and Natural Church Development.

3. Eating
Too much! Gotta cut back! Just finished a little lunch, though. A Kashi bar and handful of almonds. And my Diet DP, of course. Mmmmm… steak for dinner tonight!

4. Doing
Trying to launch a Children’s Worship Service and working with my partner-in-elding on our team’s 2008 budget. Also enjoying the continuation of kidless week. The FPK is still in New England, and we’re going to see a grown up movie this weekend!!!

5. Pondering
My next sermon. I know, don’t whine since I’ve got more than a week. But this isn’t my day job yet, and I’m still learning how to hear what God wants me to say 🙂

So there ya have it 🙂

  1. Thx for your “visit” today–and I’m tickled that you are a Florida RevGal! I’m starting what we’re calling an “intergenerational service” at my church and would love to hear more about what you are doing. Great play!

  3. I definitely think preaching gets easier when you can develop a rhythm. Blessings to you as you listen for God.
